About the Album:

La Chica Dorada is the album with which Paulina Rubio launched her solo singing career. Paulina traveled to Spain to record the album and collaborated with composers and producers Cesar Valle, J.R. Florez, Difelisatti and even Aleks Syntek. The album went straight to number one in sales in Mexico and includes her first hit and perhaps one of the most essential songs of Paulina's career: "Mío". The name of the album became Paulina's most well-known nickname, as she is still referred to as 'la chica dorada' or 'the golden girl' in English.
