About the Album:


Pau-Latina is Paulina Rubio's seventh studio album and marks her return to the Spanish-language market. For the production of the album, Paulina collaborates with songwriters and producers C. Rodriguez, M. Benito, A. Levin, I. Padrón, Coti Sorokin, Andahí, A. Schinoff, T. Méndez, E. Pérez, J. de Jesús, Marco Antonio Solis, Jorge Villamazar, X. Uribe, Emilio Estéfan, R. Gaitán, N. Tovar, T. Mardoni, T. McWilliams, J. Pérez-Soto, Reylí Barba, A. Chirino, T. Mitchell, C. Ostwald, C. Brant, R. Vission, G. Brown, and A. Cee. Also, this is the second time that Paulina participates as a songwriter in three of the album's tracks: "My Friend, Mi Amigo", "Baila Que Baila" y "Dame Tu Amor". Pau-Latina spawned four official singles, giving Paulina her first two number one hits on Latin radio in the U.S.: "Te Quise Tanto" and "Dame Otro Tequila". Alos, Pau-Latina was number one in sales in Mexico as well as the U.S. on Billboard's Latin Albums chart. With this album, Paulina became one of the singers to have four Top 10 singles from the same album on Billboard's Hot Latin Songs chart. Although Universal only released four official singles to radio, other of the album's tracks such as "My Friend, Mi Amigo", "Perros", "Alma En Libertad"and even "Volverás" managed to gain radio airplay with no promotion on behalf of Paulina's record label.
